Court Theater / Season Posters

As one of our first clients, Court Theater received fresh creative thinking at a reasonable price. In turn, we were provided with ever-changing and inspiring subject matter to exercise our design chops. While we designed all marketing materials ranging from fundraising brochures to season catalogs to ads, the limited edition posters were always where design was pushed and the finished product always surprised. Each show allowed us to experiment with unique type constructions—solutions that pushed work outside the academic mold. We create photographic illustrations with disregard for expected formula or process. The posters were painstakingly hand-silkscreened from laser prints—each having its own unique difference or embraced flaw. Faust provided concept, design, art direction, production and print management.
