Ritz-Carlton Chicago / Weddings at The Ritz Sales Kit

Faust was retained by the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, a Four Seasons Hotel, to redesign their weddings sales kit. The decision to redesign their collateral was the result of an influx of competition into the Chicago hotel market in addition to a demographic study that had revealed their clientele was transitioning to a younger age bracket with more modern tastes. The hotel needed to appeal to this transitioning audience while acknowledging the hotel's position as the “grande dame” among fine hotels in Chicago. The sales kit was designed to appeal both to brides-to-be and the mothers of the brides-to-be. Packaged as a personalized gift, the design and pacing built a sense of intrigue as each level of detail and information was revealed as it was opened. Faust provided concept, design, art direction, copywriting, production and print management.
