The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, a AAA Five Diamond/Mobil Five Star hotel located in the heart of downtown Chicago on it's Magnificent Mile—known for its architectural landmarks, high-end shopping and area cultural and entertainment attractions—is responsible for drawing discriminating guests with more than a casual interest in the above. Combine that with the increasing competitiveness of the luxury hospitality market in the area, and you have a hotel with a heightened desire to tap into the unique interests of its guests. Faust was retained by the Four Season Chicago to create a more distinct in-room menu which went beyond just presentation of edible fare. Faust pitched the concept of demonstrating their pride and insider understanding of Chicago, focusing on the area of architecture. The resulting menu features biographies of area architects widely lauded for their talent and inventiveness, as well as their local work which won't be seen in most architectural guidebooks. Faust provided concept, curation of content, design, production and print management.
