Faust’s collaboration with artist Nick Cave continued into the Pacific Northwest with the launch of SoundsuitShop SAM at the Seattle Art Museum that was open for the duration of Cave’s “Meet me at the Center of the Earth” exhibition there. SoundsuitShop SAM was constructed and running in just three short day. The tight timeframe was accomplished through the creative use of existing fixtures and by concentrating on minimal build-out. Custom wallpaper, merchandised vignettes and a strong point of view worked together to shape an immersive and singular shopping experience. The shop is also the launching ground for more than 15 new Faust-produced products now available in museum shops around the country including the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art Store. Faust provided concept, design, environment build-out and merchandising.
