Faust

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago / Alumni Exhibition Catalog 2009

Approached by the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to create an annual alumni calendar, we worked with the School to create one that broke stereotype and worked harder than most. The objectives were to impart a sense of community, foster connections and build anticipation for each year's calendar. We sought out ways to involve alumni to achieve these objectives, one of that was to host an annual alumni exhibition of work, curated by the School, that would be featured in the calendar. And because the School is a non–traditional learning environment, it was important to go against archetype in the design (read: no top spiral). Faust used a format that invited curiosity, experimentation and discovery. Faust provided concept, design, production and print management.
