Time, Inc. / Sustainability Report 2005

It was a benchmark year for Time Inc. and its parent company, TimeWarner, both of which published their first Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Reports (respectively) in 2006. Though Time Inc. is the world's largest magazine publisher, the content of their report needed to be accessible suggesting depth but simplified and organized in a way which would clearly communicate the environmental impacts of its business activities. This complicated process was made comprehensible by organizing the content according to the lifecycle of a magazine. We collaborated with Time to create a design that would project substance, progress, action and integrity—attributes that were reinforced by cogent copywriting. Faust provided concept, design, production and print management.
