Ritz-Carlton Chicago / Deca Restaurant Identity and Menus

Named for the art-deco inspired interior design and the year in which it was established, Deca Restaurant + Bar is located within the sprawling and iconic 12th-floor lobby of Chicago's Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Faust was retained to reinvent the lobby experience of the Ritz-Carlton through an identity and menu collateral system that resonated with the diverse audiences to which it is supposed to appeal and spoke to the brasserie style of the restaurant. The system employs multiple papers, finishes and forms to create an experience that unfolds throughout a diners visit beginning in their room, continuing through their meal and culminating with their final point of contact, the valet. Faust provided concept, design, production and print management.
