For nearly a decade, Faust was the exclusive design partner for Howard Brown Health Center (HBHC), the Midwest's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) health care organization. During this time, they grew from an organization providing specialized community based research to a leading provider of comprehensive health care and wellness programs, including clinical, educational, social service and research activities. We were responsible for the creation and maintenance of a cohesive visual identity implemented across a rapidly growing set of communications aimed at a specialized audience set. We worked on a myriad of communications including identity and print collateral for their research, healthcare, fundraising, and public education efforts. This advertising campaign was featured in community publications, newspapers, billboards, and in Chicago transit advertising. The goal was aimed at defining HBHC as a resource for general health care for the LGBT community, promoting a place where they could candidly discuss their health care issues free of judgment. The tone for the advertising was reality and candor. Faust was responsible for concept, design, art direction, production and placement.
