Paslode Cordless Branding Program

Paslode, Inc. is a widely respected manufacturer of fastening systems for construction, remodeling, and industrial applications. Faust was retained to develop a brand identity and tagline for their cordless line of tools. Formerly branded, “Impulse,” test marketing revealed little brand connection between Impulse and Paslode amongst consumers. Paslode needed to leverage the power and recognition of its brand while creating a segregated category for its cordless line for a more targeted approach to its branding, advertising and marketing. Faust created an identity and the simple tagline: Not Just Cordless. Paslode Cordless. Our approach to their identity was one of confidence, boldness and attitude in terms of color palette, voice and photographic perspective. Faust provided concept, design, copywriting, production, and print management relating to a brand identity, tagline, on-tool graphics, marketing collateral, POP and retail collateral, and advertising.
