The PuLi Hotel and Spa
Restaurant Identities and Menu Collateral

Retained by Zeitgeist Projects Ltd., Faust was hired to create identities and menu systems for various establishments located within The PuLi Hotel and Spa, Shanghai's most distinctive and exclusive luxury resort opening in June 2009. Within the hotel are PuLi's signature restaurant and bar, named Jing'An and Long Bar respectively. Jing'An is eponymously named after the adjacent park and Shanghai's central district in which the resort is situated. In designing the identity, Faust drew inspiration from Jing'an Temple focusing on a impression of peace and tranquility. Inspiration for Long Bar was a literal reference both to the actual length of the bar and to the length of the champagne and wine offerings. Faust also designed an identity and menu collateral for Home Delivery, PuLi's above-and-beyond room service. Faust provided concept, design, and production relating to identities and menu systems for three hotel establishments.
