2007 Annual Report

The Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo 2007 Annual Report is our fourth collaboration, but our work with Brookfield Zoo dates back more than a decade when we re-designed their membership publication Zoo Views, a design still in place today. The design of this report represented a shift for the organization identifying themselves as Brookfield Zoo to Chicago Zoological Society. The intent of this identity change was to get away from the Zoo being a presenter of animals to the organization positioning itself as a conservation leader. The tone of the editorial content and imagery moved away from cheerful imagery of families engaging with the animals to more serious imagery that supported the conservation theme. Faust provided concept, design, photo editing, production, and print managemement.
