Full Moon Projects are a series of works installed monthly and anonymously under the light of every full moon. By using public spaces as both canvas and gallery, Faust is able to produce authentic public art works that are accessible and digestible to anyone and everyone in their own comfortable and familiar contexts. The projects range from momentary to semi-permanant, ever-eroding works that a viewer simply “happens upon” as they move through their daily routines.

Projects in order, below:

Money Tree: Stenciled dollar bills stapled up trees in public parks

Pop: Marking flags installed on a sledding hill at the site of an unmarked Native American site.

Peace: Road salt installed in pedestrian ways

Ours: “Mine” and “Yours” installed as poker chips on public path

Rules of the Road: Custom street signs with personal rules

Take Cover: Community-sourced winter clothing installed outside a Chicago shelter
