In an effort to bring awareness to the newly acquired but long forgotten line of Strathmore premium writing papers, Mohawk Papers asked Faust to dream up a creative (and affordable) solution that would garner quick attention from its designer target market while positioning the sheets as a “hip choice.” With this challenge in place, Faust turned the familiar form of register receipt tape on its head. We letterpressed a cover weight sheet with direct messaging—showcasing the qualities and offerings of the paper line while emphasizing its well positioned price point. The messaging was punctuated by an “offer” to “act now” and call your sales representative for a sample and receive a chance to win prizes! Faust provided concept, design, copywriting, production and print management.
