Nick Cave: Epitome is a 300-page, large-format, hard-cover book published on the occasion of Nick Cave’s 2014 Made for Whites by Whites gallery exhibition. Printed with a special chroma ink process, Epitome delivers incredibly lush reproductions of the artists work organized intuitively by flow and feeling rather than by traditional categories/sections. The reader is led through the book through a series of essays that dive deep into the Cave’s work in performance, as social change agent and even its influence in the fashion world. Conceived with a newspaper supplement of his newest works titled WhitePaper, this set of publications is the most comprehensive survey of the artist’s work to date.
