Pop Up Experiences (The Seldoms: RockCitizen), 2015

Performative Protests
PEACE Pop
GIF-ted

RockCitizen illuminates the “power of the people” to make change through life, love and art. In this spirit, Faust has crafted a series of pop up art experiences to add context and to bring awareness to the dance theater project through various mediums.”Performative Protests” are a series of walking performances created as a community outreach component and took place throughout Chicago’s streets as a guerrilla happening. “PEACE Pop” is typographic path of peace created from over 50ft of x-large bubble wrap installed outside the Chicago Cultural Center. It is in part a celebration of peace with a joyous “pop” and alternatively a metaphor for the fragility of peace and how easily it can be lost. “GIF-ted” is a series of gift-worthy animated GIFs to help spread the word (and RockCitizen info) virally through The Seldoms social media channels.
