Nick Cave: Triple Ripple, 2015

Part magazine part catalogue this self titled magalogue is the result of a number of limitations we saw rather as opportunities … to do something different in the art catalog category. We had a limited budget, limited timeframe, an overseas client and a need to produce something spectacular for an art festival called “Lille 3000 Fantastic.” The result is an unbound series of folded posters gathered and packed in an oversized zip-lock bag that can be customized and localized as the show makes its European tour. The signatures can be added to, subtracted from and reordered so the piece can transform itself for each location. It was printed on a UV press with special fluorescent inks to give exceptional ink hold out and vibrancy not ordinarily possible on an uncoated sheet.
